11.29.03 - So, today is Brandon's Birthday (The person who is writing this right now,) and we are playing tonight at The Jamshed in Pleasant Grove, Ut. and Tommorrow we are leaving for 3 weeks to kick off the first leg of The Phoenix Rises Tour. 11.20.03 - Political Pushover's New Cd "The Phoenix Rises" is going to be released On January, 6th, 2003. Our CD Release Show/ Party is going to be on the 2nd of January in Lehi, Ut. We are Pre-saling 200 copies of the album on a first come, first serve basis. If you buy it on pre-sale you'll also get a free sticker with the album. So get a hold of us if you want one! or come to one of our shows! Speaking of shows, we are going on tour, two weeks from now, on a West Coast Tour to support the new album. 10.03.03 - What is this? The Political Pushover site is updated? It's a miracle!!! Well, maybe not, stranger things have happened. So whats updated... hmmm. Well pretty much everything. There's a new frontpage, new artwork, new pics, the mp3 page has been reduced to a simple link to our mp3.com page. It all looks and feels so crisp and new! Our new album is out soon, The Phoenix Rises, 14 songs, recorded spring 2003 by Joel Pack. It is officially supposed to come out October 28th. We have a West Coast Tour in the works for November into December. So look for those dates when they are confirmed. 03.08.03 - The Tourdates Page is Updated we have alot of upcoming shows, so make sure you check out the page and see if there is show near you! The mailing list is back into effect so if you want to sign up for that then you can now. Also Political Pushover is going back into the studio on March 9th, which is tomorrow with Joel Pack, recording our 2nd Full Length release yet to be titled, Look for it in stores at the end of the year. 11.26.02 - So, you like? It's taken me the last month to put together the new website, so please look around, we've got new pics, new everything some things like the profiles won't be updated untill Dec. 1st, and look for more and more things added every day. Also... We are in the studio recording a new EP featuring 5 new songs and a new version of Raped By Ignorance. It will be available in Utah to a select few before christmas, to everyone else you'll have to wait until we officially release it in 2003! Happy Thanksgiving!
10.15.02 - Hows it going? Long time no updates, eh? Well alot has happened in Political Pushover Ville in the last couple months. First and Formost our latest and hopefully last line-up change has occured. We acquired a very talented new bassist named Jason, who has had a crash course in Political Pushover 101. He played his first show with us 4 days after we met him, and 2 days after that he went on tour with us to California! Hopefully everyone will like him as much as we do. Which brings me to my next point, Tour! for all those that missed it, we went on tour recently to California, it was really more like a vacation! We played half of our shows and the rest the time we spent on the beach getting Surf lessons from our drummer, Ben, who is native Californian. Anyways it was fun, and hey everything can't work out, I'm sorry to the people in Arizona who missed us, the van got a flat and we couldn't make it in time. But thanks to all those that made the other shows. Great news for all of our Utah Fans in SLC, Logan, and Ogden areas, We are going to be littering your towns with our rare breed of noise pollution very soon, so look and listen for us! 06.30.02 - So last time I lied, oh well now I really have updated some things. There is Nick above this and to the far right. Hey Nick! sorry thats the only pic of you I had on my computer. And as soon as I get more pics they will be up there. I'm sorry about the mess on the guestbook, somebody has confused us with fascists. 05.18.02- Well well, miracles do happen. After 3 months I've decided to finally update the damn Page. I'm sorry it's been so long, but we've just been so busy with everything. So first of thanks to all that have visited the site, in spite of it's lack of up to date material. We are a complete five peice once again, and we are really excited about our new addition to our band. Nick Shurtz is our new bass player, and he rules! So, we've had alot of shows in the last three months, mostly thanks to us acquiring the old August Arts Center. We've fixed it up and are continuing to fix it up, and it is now called the Foundation, Everyone should check it out. It's at 364 w 600 s in Provo, Ut. If you want to see whos playing there, then check out our new utah bands page, aipunk.com. Lastly, the summer tour has been moved to July, and the dates will be posted as soon as they are confirmed. But, fans in California, all over Utah, Oregan, Washington, Idaho, and Colorado should all be watching for a visit soon. and Yes, Nick's pics will be updated, as well as Dan's, Arties, and who knows maybe some more fan and show pics! maybe you just might be on our page! 02.17.02- It's Time for us to update our Tour Dates page. For the first time in Political Pushover's history we are finally going to utilize this page for tour dates. We have alot of shows coming up. On the 2nd of March we are playing With Repeat Offenders, Code of Conduct, and The Ruffians at the Lehi Arts Center. Also In March, we are playing a show with Thought Riot, an AF Records Band, We will have that show at the new Venue in Lindon called Suite 13. Thought Riot is starting off on an East Coast Tour with Anti-Flag and Good Riddance shortly after their show here, so check them out before they get famous! Then in April we are spending our Spring Break in beautiful Santa Maria California for a Battle of the bands down there, and then a show with Vitamin X in Salt lake on the 24th. 01.15.02- Well, do you like the new look? The rest of the site will be updated one page at a time, and updates won't be posted untill everything is finished. Also: Again Political Pushover is in need of a bassist. I know everyone was looking forward to seeing Peter play with us(maybe not everyone), but unfortunately he is too busy with other projects, and his other band Backline is his first priority, so we thought it would be better for everyone if we got a bassist that could be more dedicated to the band.
